Lindsay Huff

Cedar City, UT

This year’s Cedar City recipient is Lindsay Huff, a devoted wife, loving mother of four, and a woman who has spent her life caring for the people around her. Lindsay and her husband, Justin, are raising their four children together, and at just 38 years old, she is now facing the fight of her life.

Lindsay was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and has since gone through multiple surgeries, hospital stays, and a round of chemotherapy that made her extremely sick. She has stopped traditional chemotherapy and is now on a targeted treatment that recently received FDA approval. Her response has been encouraging, and while the long-term outcome is still unknown, it has brought her family tremendous hope. Meanwhile, Justin has balanced caring for Lindsay and their children with keeping his business running, and medical bills, travel, and everyday expenses have put a heavy financial strain on the family.

Through it all, Lindsay remains committed to pursuing every avenue of healing and is determined to keep fighting for more time with her family.

Kody Campbell

St. George, UT

This year’s St. George recipient is Kody Campbell, a 20-year-old Pine View High School graduate who loves playing guitar, drums, and piano. Kody played volleyball for Pine View and helped his team win the 2024 4A State Championship. He is the son of Tyler and Shauntel Campbell and brother to Garrett and Dexter.

In November 2025, what began as sudden rib pain and trouble breathing led to a devastating discovery: a 16-centimeter tumor attached to Kody’s rib and pressing on his lung. An emergency biopsy confirmed Ewing sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. After eight rounds of chemotherapy shrank the tumor, Kody had major surgery in May 2026. Surgeons removed the tumor along with parts of his ribs, lung, and diaphragm, and rebuilt his rib cage. He is now finishing his final six rounds of chemotherapy and six weeks of proton radiation at Primary Children’s Hospital and University of Utah Hospital.

“Kody is a fighter, and we know he can beat this,” his family shares.
